channel 4 life class

Don't know if any of you have seen this (you may be at work or involved in some other useful activity at this time of day) but Channel 4 have a show called "Life Class - Today's Nude" at 12.30pm on weekdays. I watched it today, and drew this. More of this on tv I say!

At one point, the chap who presents it, and talks you through the drawing process, said "the armpit, where the body hides it's secrets". It struck me as a rather odd thing to say!

Some sketches of girls....

I've been asked to paint a picture of these two girls, one has commissioned it for the other's 21st.
O, woe, what a terrible, joyless and difficult life this is...

and here are some initial sketches...

Sadly I forgot to take a photo of the finished piece, so, Megan, if you're reading this, could you send me a photo of it please. Thanks.

Neil Armstrong continued....

Neil Armstrong

A work in progress at the moment, 60x60cm.
I was trying to think of people who I consider 'heroes', I couldn't think of many. Neil Armstrong is pretty much top of the list though. A brilliant man; brave, intelligent, humble. The first man on the moon, it doesn't get much cooler than that. Unless of course you take into account his years of not speaking to the press, living almost as a recluse, then he's even cooler.

flourescent pandas

there are a couple of these pandas left at the affleck's stall.

this is going to look good, i promise!
